About the AMWU
The Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU) represents workers across manufacturing, engineering, aviation and related industries. The union works to improve wages, conditions and safety for workers and apprentices, and plays a key role in shaping the future of Australia’s manufacturing workforce.
For women entering trades and technical roles, being part of the union means having support if something goes wrong at work, access to advice about workplace rights, and a collective voice to improve opportunities for women in the industry.
Have you ever heard or thought about being in the AMWU’s women’s committee?
The Women's Committee is a space where your voice matters. It's a collective platform to share the barriers you face in the industry, connect with others who understand and work together to drive meaningful change for women in trades.
