The Fearless Festival, delivered by AMWU Breaking Barriers, is an exciting and empowering career exploration event for secondary school students. Designed to inspire young people to think boldly about their futures, the festival brings together industry leaders, educators, apprentices, trainees and role models from a wide range of sectors including Trades, Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology, Defence and other emerging industries.

Through interactive workshops, hands-on activities, career expos and engaging presentations, students gain valuable insights into the diverse pathways available during and after school. Students have the opportunity to connect directly with employers, training providers and industry professionals, helping them make informed decisions about their future education and career options.

The event also highlights the importance of diversity, inclusion and representation in the workforce, encouraging students to challenge stereotypes and explore opportunities based on their interests, skills and ambitions. The Fearless Festival empowers young people to confidently pursue rewarding careers and become the workforce of tomorrow.

Proudly funded by the Commonwealth Government's Building Women's Careers Initiative.

The Fearless Festival will be held alongside the 2027 Career Roadshow; an initiative of Uni Hub Spencer Gulf, delivered in collaboration with Workforce Australia's Local Jobs Program.
